Passage To Thought was recorded in Naim's favoured True Stereo technique by Ken Christianson at Beverly Arts Centre, Chicago in the spring of 2007. Noland makes a welcomed return to the Naim Label, in his fourth full-length True Stereo album, recorded live, this time with the help of three first-class musicians and friends.

Having never appeared on the Naim Label under the pseudonym Patrick Noland Group, Passage To Thought marks the stunning fruition of Noland's spacious, dynamic and diverse compositions. Here Noland has struck a chord, which leads not so much toward thought provocation, but a deep invitation to free thought.
