What make of instruments do you use? Mostly Fender guitars but I also have a Fernandez and a Guild as well as a Martin and a Collings.

What make of strings do you use? D'addario.

What is your favourite instrument? A 1957 Telecaster named "Junior ".

What was your best gig or concert, and why did you enjoy playing it so much? Hard to single out one: as a leader, a concert in Erie Pennslvania last year; as a sideman, the Philadelphia folk festival a couple of years ago with Jeb Loy Nichols...I played guitar, bass and banjo.

Which musicians have influenced your music most? Too many to name but I know if you write instrumental music you have to touch all the bases. You can't be lazy about your writing.

What is your favourite piece of music? Possibly "Baby can I change my mind?" by Tyrone Davis.

Who is your favourite band or musician? Too many to name.

What is your favourite item of clothing? The thong my wife bought a couple of weeks ago.

What is your favourite destination and why? Italy or maybe the Bronx: I like to eat.

How do you relax? I go to the Alcha Hall of Fame
